Leo is a Senior Information Technology Executive experienced with building/turning around technology organizations that deliver highly complex enterprise systems. Leo is experienced with large organizations (10,000+ employees) and has built technology organizations in small entrepreneurial companies experiencing rapid growth.
Leo specializes in new technologies, including social media, cloud computing, web systems, complex accounting systems (such as SAP) and supply chain development (physical and digital). He has vast experience with websites, M & A activities, mobile computing, entertainment IT, intellectual property management including all forms of sales as well as more traditional sales/marketing systems. An industry and technology thought leader, he has built systems for a fraction of the money spent at similar organizations. Technical & detail oriented, he has experience as both CIO and CTO.
Leo has most recently served as a leader in the Oracle Client Advisor (OCA) program. The OCAs become trusted advisers to the most senior level executives (CIO and business leaders) in the accounts they serve. They provide expert advice on both business and technology and have a “seat at the table” for the customer’s strategic planning.
Prior to Oracle, Leo was the CIO of LionsGate where he implemented SAP Financials including FI/CO, Special Ledgers, BI/BW, Logistics (on-line purchasing and approval), MRP, EDI, and Portals. Completed in four months, on time, on budget. Leo was also instrumental in developing Lionsgates’ first video on Demand presentation of a First Run movie (Pi, 1999), the first large scale use of digital projection on a first run movie (Standing in the Shadows of Motown, 2002, the first DVD supporting greater than HDTV resolution for the mass market (T2, June 2003).
